Water supply in the capital will be available at low pressure till the situation improves, the Delhi Jal Board said.

The accused have been identified as the owner of Aurrum e-payment Rajendran Keezhedath Nair, CFO of Aurrum e-payment Gopi Kumar Kedia and Additional Director of Aurrum e-payment Abhilash Vasukuttan Pillai.

CBI has booked former Delhi Jal Board officials -- chief engineer Jagdish Kumar Arora, superintendent engineer P K Gupta, executive engineer Sushil Kumar goel, assistant engineer Ashok Sharma, AAO Ranjit Kumar and others besides private company NKG Infrastructure Limited.

Water will be available at low pressure in parts of northeast Delhi, west Delhi, north Delhi, central Delhi, south Delhi, including Delhi Cantonment, and New Delhi Municipal Council areas.

Delhi Jal Board on Monday said that the water supply in the capital will be affected from Tuesday. The production capacity at Wazirabad, Chandrawal, and Okhla water treatment plants has dipped further. The areas where the water supply is likely to be affected include Karol Bagh, Paharganj, Greater Kailash.

Following a drop of around two feet of water, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has reportedly written to Haryana and requested to release more water. This was a second SOS sent by DJB to the Haryana Irrigation department in a week, reports claimed.

DJB has withdrawn the circular granting a break every day to all Muslim employees during Ramzan. Ramzan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, during which followers of Islam fast between dawn and sunset. BJP had protested against a circular that granted a 2-hour break.

AAP MLA Raghav Chadha on Thursday claimed that BJP workers vandalised the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) office and attacked the staff members. However, the BJP has denied the allegations saying the attack was orchestrated by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

The water supply will be affected in several parts of Delhi due to an "abnormal" increase in ammonia levels in raw water. This water is discharged into the Yamuna by Haryana, said Delhi Jal Board vice-chairman.

The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) on Tuesday extended its water bill waiver scheme by three months till September 30, 2020. 

The application, which is likely to be listed for hearing on May 27, claimed that the allegations against the accused were completely false and fabricated and he had no role in the unfortunate suicide of the deceased and as public representative he is equally pained by the death of the person.
