New Delhi: The much-anticipated first glimpse of Ramayana, India’s most expensive film, will be unveiled today, July 3, at 11:30 AM. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari, the mythological adaptation stars Ranbir Kapoor and promises to be a cinematic spectacle.

The official title glimpse will be launched simultaneously across nine major Indian cities: Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Pune, Kochi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad’s iconic Prasads Multiplex.

Cast, Crew & Budget Details

The poster of Ramayana was first unveiled by Namit Malhotra, Founder and Global CEO of Prime Focus Studios, who is also one of the producers. The film will release in two parts, with the first part expected in November 2026 and the second in 2027.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film reportedly has a massive budget of Rs 835 crore, making it India’s most expensive production to date. It has surpassed the budgets of Kalki 2898 AD (₹600 crore), RRR, and Adipurush (both Rs 550 crore), according to a Hindustan Times report.

The cast includes several big names from both film and television, with key roles played by Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, Kajal Aggarwal, and Lara Dutta.

The team recently wrapped up filming for the first part. In a viral video, lead actor Ranbir Kapoor is seen emotionally thanking the cast and crew for their dedication and hard work. He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to his co-stars and the entire production team.
