    After heavy rainfall on Monday in Karnataka's Bengaluru, the capital city witnessed intense waterlogging, hindering daily life and movement. Several visuals of the waterlogging show rescue operations helping citizens, and others also revealed how water entered people's homes. 

    As the rescue ops assisted the stranded families, the Karnataka government also sprang into action. According to the news agency ANI, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah informed that 104 mm of rain was recorded, and added that one individual died due to a wall collapse.

    The CM and his deputy, DK Shivakumar, will go around the city on Wednesday, along with all the MLAs of Bengaluru.

    Bengaluru Waterlogging Updates | Two Dead Due To Electrocution: Police

    According to ANI, Sarah Fathima, DCP, South East Bengaluru, informed that Manmohan Kamath (63), Dinesh (12) - son of Bharath, a Nepalese living in an apartment in BTM Second Stage Dollars Colony, NS Palya, died due to electrocution yesterday. 

    Manmohan Kamath was connecting the motor to pump out water from the basement of the apartment.

    Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah informed that a person died due to a wall collapse and added that a compensation of Rs. 5 Lakh to the family. 

    According to ANI, CM Siddaramaiah said, "It rained yesterday. The rainfall was more than expected. 104 mm of rain was recorded...On 21st May, D.K. Shivakumar and I will go around the city throughout the day, along with all the MLAs of Bengaluru...Today, one person died due to a wall collapse. We will provide a compensation of Rs 5 lakhs to their family."
