Kadi BY-Election Result Highlights: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has retained the Kadi Assembly seat in Gujarat with its candidate Rajendrakumar Chavda securing the victory by a margin of 39,452 votes over his rival.   

Vote counting for the Kadi Assembly by poll in North Gujarat commenced on Monday morning. This Assembly by poll, conducted by the Election Commission of India (ECI), was necessitated by the passing of former BJP MLA Karsanbhai Solanki. 

Key candidates included BJP's Rajendra Chavda and Congress's Ramesh Chavda, with AAP also fielding Jagdish Chavda. Voting concluded peacefully on Thursday with a provisional turnout of 56.89%.

The contenders for the Kadi constituency in the 2025 by-election included Jagdishbhai Ganpatbhai Chavda (AAP), Rameshbhai Chavda (Congress), Rajendrakumar (Rajubhai) Daneshwar Chavda (BJP), Dr. Girishbhai Jethabhai Kapadia (PSDP), Jayendra Karshanbhai Rathod (RRP), Pravinbhai Ishwarbhai Chauhan (BHJP), and two independent candidates, Makwanabhai Kamleshbhai Makwanabhai and G.P.P.
