Mumbai: Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela has grabbed headlines again. The actress has claimed that her luggage, which contained jewellery worth Rs 70 lakhs, was recently stolen from London’s Gatwick Airport during Wimbledon 2025.

Taking to Instagram, the Daaku Maharaj actress sought urgent help and uploaded a photo of her baggage tag and ticket from her Emirates flight. The actress wrote, “Injustice tolerated is injustice repeated. Our @wimbledon @dior brown baggage was stolen from the belt at @gatwickairport after flying @emirates from Mumbai during #Wimbledon. Baggage tag & ticket above. Urgently requesting help to retrieve it.” The airport authorities are yet to respond to her complaint.

Her team also posted a statement saying, “As a Platinum Emirates Member and a global artist attending Wimbledon, I am deeply disheartened to report that our Christian Dior brown baggage was stolen from the baggage belt at London Gatwick Airport, following our Emirates flight from Mumbai. Despite holding our baggage tag and ticket, the bag went missing directly from the belt area—an alarming breach of airport security. This matter is not only about a lost bag—it’s about accountability, safety, and dignity for all travelers.”

Netizens React

The internet soon reacted to the post and trolled Urvashi, calling it a publicity gimmick.

An Instagram user wrote, “The so-called ‘GODDESS OF BEAUTY’ and ‘BOLLYWOOD DIVA’ crying over a lost Dior bag?? That's pretty cheap, I guess!!”

Another one shared, “Why are you tagging Wimbledon & Dior? Simply tag the airline.”

A third comment read, “First Indian to lose baggage returning from Wimbledon!”

Taking a dig at Urvashi's several Labubu dolls, which she flaunted during Wimbledon, a cybercitizen penned, “Maybe your Labubus took it.”

Urvashi Rautela at Wimbledon 2025

Urvashi Rautela stole the spotlight at Wimbledon 2025. The newsmaker attended the finals of the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament in London and made heads turn with her fashion choices.

She wore designer Ali Asaad’s cutesy off-white corset flare dress with a lace pattern all over it and a satin patch on the waistline. But what caught attention was her high-and-mighty Hermès Birkin handbag, which had not one or two, but four Labubu doll charms clinging to it. Urvashi stole the limelight with her overall look, make-up, and those Labubus.

What Are Labubu Dolls?

Labubu is a brand of collectible plush toy monster-elves created by Hong Kong-Belgian designer Kasing Lung and sold exclusively by China-based retailer Pop Mart. Labubu is also the name of the main character in the series.

These dolls are inspired by Nordic fairy tales and resemble tiny elf creatures. They shot to fame after Lisa from the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK was seen carrying one. What followed was a frenzy of celebrities flaunting the doll, including Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Dua Lipa, and more.

In India, celebrities like Ananya Panday, Twinkle Khanna, Sharvari, and Sana Makbul have been spotted with Labubu dolls, joining the international craze for these toy figures.
