Aditya Ghosh's resignation from the post of President of IndiGo will be effective from July 31, 2018 while he will cease to be the Director with effect from April 26, 2018.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee said that airlines need to become passenger friendly and its staff should learn to say "please" and "Thank you".

IndiGo will also look at GE engines for its planned 280 A320 neo planes, its President Aditya Ghosh said on Monday amid the airline grounding some of its neo fleet due to the Pratt & Whitney engine issues.
