At least seven buildings, including a church, collapsed in Aizawl and nearby villages due to multiple landslides triggered by heavy rains in Mizoram since Thursday, officials said on Saturday.

 A woman and her three-year-old daughter were killed and six others injured when a house was hit by a massive landslide at Ngur village at Mizoram-Myanmar border, police said on Friday.

Three people in a family were injured when a building housing three families was blown to pieces by a strong pre-monsoon squall at Serkhan village in Mizoram-Assam border Kolasib district early this morning, village leaders said.
