Apache helicopters News
Indian Air Force’s (IAF) fighter jets - Sukhoi Su-30MKIs and Apache attack helicopters – have begun patrolling to keep an eye over the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the aftermath of the Galwan Valley clash between Indian and the Chinese troops in eastern Ladakh last month.
Both helicopters were recently inducted in the Indian Air Force.
IAF PRO, Anupam Banerjee said, "It's a ceremonial induction of the aircraft into IAF. As of now, we've 8 aircraft. The other aircrafts will come in a phased manner and all will be inducted into IAF. We had attack helicopters earlier, but this aircraft brings in lethal firepower with great accuracy."
Indian Air Force (IAF) Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa and Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman on Monday flew sortie in MiG-21 fighter aircraft in Pathankot, Punjab.
