Nifty and Sensex have opened in the green on the day of the Budget 2022 presentation. The complete picture, however, will be only clear after the Budget 2022 presentation begins. Stock market participants will be closely following today's announcements.

India currently follows the traditional April-March financial year.

 Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Friday told lawmakers that the government is considering to change the country`s financial year to January-December from April-March.
