Justice Chakraborty said in the letter that he and his family were threatened to be implicated in the 'NDPS case' i.e. drug case.
Anubrata Mondal, who was arrested in the cow smuggling case, is scheduled to be produced in Asansol CBI court on Wednesday.
According to court sources, Justice Chakraborty is not one to bow down to such threats.

CBI had registered a case on December 13, 2007 against the said three arrested accused and 12 other accused including officials of Union Bank of India, Sachivalaya Branch and Central Bank of India, Nakkhas Branch, Lucknow.

It was alleged that various parties had been approaching the middleman to pursue their pending matters with the said appraiser
Appraiser asked the middleman that a person will collect payment of undue advantage on his behalf
The middleman had allegedly delivered the payment of Rs 7 lakh as the part of undue advantage to the said private person
