China growth forecast News

Tokyo: Amid concerns of a slowing global growth, India is a beacon of hope and has the potential to drive the world economy for the next 10 years, former Singapore prime minister Goh Chok Tong said on Monday.

China will release fourth-quarter and full-year 2015 economic growth data on January 19.

Developing Asia is now expected to grow 6.1 percent and 6.2 percent this year and in 2016 against the ADB`s March forecast of 6.3 percent for both years.
