For the first time, the Health Ministry has revealed why a foreign vaccine could never come to India. Moderna and Pfizer's vaccine were seeing India as a big market and both these American companies felt that India would never be able to vaccinate more than 136 crore population of their country without a foreign vaccine.

The sole reason was unjustified demands by foreign corporations. Moderna and Pfizer merely saw India as a huge market and were confident that India, with its massive population, would not be able to tide over the crisis without their help.
