In the wee hours of February 26, 2019, the Indian Air Force (IAF) jets bombed the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terror camps in Balakot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Pakistan and avenged the Pulwama terrorist attack. India on February 14, 2019, was shaken by what can be defined as one of the deadliest terror attacks on its soil in recent times.

The pilot assessed the situation in seconds, jettisoned two additional fuel drop tanks and CBLS Pods as per the Standard Operating Procedure and safely landed the aircraft, averting a major disaster.

A high level of aerial activity was witnessed at Mendhar in Poonch along the Line of Control and Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday morning. Eyewitnesses reported seeing several IAF jets flying over the area.

India Air Force has said their radar intercepted a balloon-shaped object at around 10.30 and 11 o'clock on Tuesday morning. And soon an IAF fighter jet was scrambled to neutralise it.
