Indian Oil Corp (IOC) News
Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) plans to buy 15 buses that can run on hydrogen fuel.
IOC will also set up a facility at its Faridabad research and development (R&D) centre to produce hydrogen to run the buses.
These vehicles produce electricity using a fuel cell-powered by hydrogen, rather than drawing electricity from only a battery.
The board of India's largest oil firm gave "in-principle approval for acquiring up to 50 percent equity in GSPL LNG Ltd, which is setting up a 5 million tons per annum LNG terminal at Mundra Port in Gujarat," the company said in a statement.
IOC Chairman Sanjiv Singh said IOC bought crude from US for the first time after crude export ban was lifted in December last year.
HPCL said it is building a new 9 million tonnes per annum refinery-cum-petrochemical complex at Pachpadra in Rajasthan and a petrochemical complex at Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh.
