Indian Railways has unveiled new 'Vistadome' tourist coaches
These new coaches are built on LHB platform
They have severl notable features like transparent roof, observation lounge and WiFi etc
Indian Railways currently operates two world-class Vande Bharat trains. The first train runs between New Delhi and Varanasi and the second between New Delhi and Katra.
The railways, in another first, is set to come up with an elliptical 40-km track between Jaipur and Phulera at an investment of around Rs 4 billion to conduct trials of its semi-high speed and high speed trains.
The EMU train comes with higher passenger capacity.
This semi-high speed train has been named - Train 18 - on the year it's being manufactured.
Indian Railways is planning to introduce two trains which promise to bring down travel time and provide world-class facilities to passengers.
"In order to improve the safety and security of passengers, including women and children, the government has installed CCTV cameras on a limited number of coaches of passenger and suburban trains on a pilot basis," said Rajen Gohain
