The Haryana government has formed the Prakash Singh committee to inquire into the Jat quota agitation.

The Haryana Police on Wednesday registered a case against Varinder Singh, a close aide of former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, for trying to incite violence during the recent Jat agitation, police sources said here.

The operation of Samjhauta Express -- a train service between India and Pakistan -- which has been suspended due to the protests in Haryana, will be resumed from Thursday, the Pakistan Railways said.
