Onam in Kerala News

Feasts, colourful masks, performances, boat races and the all-time favourite Onam sadhya, Kerala celebrates Onam, it's annual harvest festival, with great zeal and excitement spanning a total of 10 days. 

The festival is celebrated in the month of Chingam according to the Malayalam calendar which is equivalent to the Hindu solar calendar followed by people in other parts of India.

Onam is spread over 10 days and culminates with Thiruvonam, the most important day.
