PM Modi attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the third Uttar Pradesh Investors Summit today. UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh were also present at the event.

PM Modi interacted with the beneficiaries of 'Utkarsh Initiative'. A total of 12,854 beneficiaries were identified across the four schemes, PMO said.

The Prime Minister’s Office informed that PM Modi will address the “Utkarsh Samaroh” in Gujarat’s Bharuch today. The Ministry of External Affairs said PM Modi will participate in the second global virtual summit on Covid-19 today.

The event is being hosted by DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The event marks the sixth anniversary of the launch of the 'Startup India' initiative.

The new medical colleges are being established at an estimated cost of about Rs 4000 crore, out of which around Rs 2145 crore has been provided by the Union government and rest by the Tamil Nadu government. 

The Purvanchal Expressway is over 341 kilometre-long and 6-lane wide. The expressway was constructed at an estimated cost of about Rs 22,500 crore. It is set to give a boost to the economic development of the eastern part of Uttar Pradesh.
