Sonu Nigam ‘Azaan’ tweet row: Government must take action against those who issue fatwa, says singer
Last month, Nigam got embroiled in a controversy over his tweets against use of loudspeaker at odd hours during azaan (Muslim call for prayer).
The whole controversy garnered mixed response on the internet. However, Sonu later clarified that he was not against any one religion.
Cleric Syed Sha Atef Ali Al Quaderi today said no 'fatwa' was issued against Sonu Nigam for his tweets over the use of loudspeakers in shrines and that the singer will get Rs 10 lakh award announced by him only if he fulfils the rest of the conditions.

In order to prove his point right, the singer shaved his head this afternoon in the presence of media.
