The Allahabad HC has summoned YEIDA CEO and other UP government officials over the razing of a residential colony in Bulandshahr despite its stay order on demolition, reported PTI.
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority is planning to complete the film city project by 2024.
The project will be developed in a public-private partnership (PPP).
The Noida film city will be developed in three phases.
Yamuna Authority CEO Dr Arun Veer Singh said that the bid for the development of Rs 10,000 crore Film City will open on November 23.
The pre-bid will be done on December 8, he added.
The Film City will be built upon 1000 acres of land.
Yeida officials said that the in-principle approval means that the Yeida is expected to get over Rs 1,000 crore in funding and other benefits from the Central government.
UP govt has said that 1,000 acres of land for the film city project has been identified in Gautam Buddh Nagar district by YEIDA
Infotainment Zone will also be set up at the film city with all World Class Civil, Public and Technological facilities

The UP government has sought land proposal for film city from three different authorities.
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has sent the proposal of the establishment of the film city to the state government on Sunday (September 20, 2020).
The Noida Authority also sent a proposal for 500 acres of land to the government for Film City construction. This land belongs to Sector 162,164,165,166.
As per reports, there is a plan to establish the film city in Sector-21 of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development's area, for which, around 1000 acre land has been made available and 780 acres of Industrial area has been proposed.
The location has been chosen as it's situated along the Yamuna expressway and is around 6 km from to be constructed Noida International Airport in Jewar and is also well connected with the rail.
It is also close to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway and is nearby India's only Formula One track, the Gautam Buddha International Circuit.
