New Delhi: Sacred Games actress Elnaaz Norouzi has been in the spotlight amid rumours of her participation in Bigg Boss 19. The Salman Khan-hosted reality show that is back with its new season and will premiere on August 24. However, recent reports suggest that Elnaaz declined a offer to join the show and the jaw-dropping amount she turned down is hitting the headlines.

Elnaaz Declines Bigg Boss 19 Jaw-Dropping Offer? 

The buzz around the Bigg Boss contestants is palpable, and in a fresh update surrounding the celebs expected to take part in the show, Elnaaz’s name is garnering huge attention. According to India Today, the actress was reportedly offered a whopping Rs 6 crore to participate in the upcoming season of Salman Khan’s show, but she declined the offer due to her professional commitments.

A source revealed to the portal that Elnaaz is prioritising the quality of her work over quantity or money. 'Bigg Boss is one of the biggest platforms for visibility, but Elnaaz is at a stage in her career where she doesn’t want to compromise on the kind of work she takes on. She was offered Rs 6 crore for the season, but she respectfully declined. Her calendar is packed for the next few months. Her current focus is on cinema, and she has multiple commitments lined up,' the source said to India Today. 

Why Elnaaz Turned Down Salman Khan's Show? 

According to News18, Elnaaz is currently in London shooting for her next film, Masti 4. A source revealed that the actress wants to focus on her craft rather than chase the limelight, and disappearing for six straight months would affect her career.

The source told India Today, 'She wants to be known for her craft, not just popularity. There was a lot of discussion internally about Bigg Boss. It’s a tempting offer for any actor, but Elnaaz felt that disappearing for three to six months inside the house would derail the momentum she’s built internationally,' 

'She’s consciously choosing projects that challenge her as an actor. She's not chasing the limelight; she’s chasing longevity. Bigg Boss was never off the table, it just doesn’t align with where she sees herself at the moment,' the source concluded. 

Elnaaz Norouzi On The Work Front 

 Elnaaz is a well-known face in the industry and has featured in projects such as Sacred Games, Made in Heaven, and The Traitor. After appearing in Kandahar (2023) alongside Gerard Butler, Elnaaz is also working on a Hollywood production, Hotel Tehran a global thriller starring Zachary Levi and Liam Neeson. She will next be seen in the web film Tehran, alongside John Abraham and Manushi Chhillar.
