A full dress parade rehearsal was held at Rajpath in Delhi on Sunday (January 23) ahead of the Republic Day parade. The rehearsal commenced from Vijay Chowk and then proceeded towards the Red Fort via Rajpath. In a first, India commenced its Republic Day celebrations from January 23 instead of January 24, to include the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory in view of the full dress rehearsal for the R-Day parade today.
As per the advisory, the parade rehearsal will start at 10.20 am.
It will begin from Vijay Chowk and will proceed to National Stadium.
