While introducing the state budget, Manish Sisodia termed it the 'Deshbhakti Budget' as the major allocation will be done towards celebrating 75 years of independence. Before coming for the assembly session, Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was spotted visiting Hanuman temple. This budget will be the national capital’s first paperless budget.

The AAP-led Delhi government on Monday (March 8) presented its fourth Outcome Budget on the first day of the Delhi Assembly’s budget session for 2021-22. The Budget Session started from Monday with an address by Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal. The Session is scheduled to be held from March 8 to March 16, 2021.

AAP MLA Ram Niwas Goel was unanimously elected as the speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly for the second consecutive time on Monday. Goel is an MLA from Shahdara. 

The AAP National Convener said this was also a verdict on the working style of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP's National President Amit Shah.
