The actor, who made his debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's 2016 dud "Mirzya", opened up on his upcoming projects. He was last seen in AK vs AK directed by Vikramaditya Motwane.

The film, based on the life of the Abhinav Bindra, was announced three years ago. Harshvardhan will be seen as the ace shooter in the film.

Actor Harshvardhan Kapoor, who was last seen in `Bhavesh Joshi The Superhero` has said that he will start shooting for biopic of Olympic Gold medallist Abhinav Bindra in January next year.

Bindra became the first Indian to win an individual gold medal at the Olympic Games - he achieved the feat at the quadrennial event held in Beijing in 2008.  

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor is all set to play reel daddy to his real son Harshvardhan in Abhinav Bindra biopic. And it was confirmed by his son in a sweet way.

Director Kannan Iyer, who is helming Abhinav Bindra biopic, hints that the Olympic gold medallist might appear in the upcoming film on his life.

Abhinav made India proud in 2008 by winning gold in the 10 m Air Rifle event at the Beijing Olympic Games. With the marvellous achievement, he also became the first Indian to win an individual gold medal at the Olympic Games.

Producer Prerna Arora, who is backing a biopic on Olympic gold medallist shooter Abhinav Bindra, says it is a difficult project as the makers have to be cautious while presenting the story in an honest way.

If everything falls in place, Anil Kapoor might be seen playing the on-screen father to his son Harshvardhan Kapoor in the forthcoming biopic on Indian professional shooter Abhinav Bindra.
