The Delhi High Court dismissed the petitions filed against the Agneepath scheme and said that this scheme is in the national interest. There is no justification for the interference of the court.
Bihar Minister Surendra Yadav said, "When they (Agniveers) will be 25-26 years old, people will come with marriage proposals. What will they say? I am a retired soldier? Who will marry them?" he said.
