The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday (March 18) slammed the Centre for seeking staggered payment of adjusted gross revenues (AGR) dues by telecom companies, including Airtel and Vodafone.

It is to be noted that Airtel owes a total of Rs 35,500 crore to the Centre as spectrum charges and licence fee, reported PTI.
