Air Force fly past News
The Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy joined hands on Sunday (May 3) to express their gratitude to corona warriors, including healthcare workers, police, and forces who are at the forefront of the battle against the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted a fly-past over Dal Lake in Srinagar on Sunday morning to express gratitude to medical professionals and other frontline workers at the forefront of battle against the deadly Coronavirus.
In order to express our gratitude to all professionals fighting coronavirus at the forefront including doctors, nurses, sanitation workers, police, home guards, delivery boys and media. "We are expressing our gratitude to all 'corona warriors' says CDS Bipin Rawat.
The Republic Day flypast will comprise 41 aircraft of the Indian Air Force and four helicopters of the Army's aviation arm. The aircraft types include 16 fighters, 10 transport aircraft and 19 helicopters. The flypast will be conducted in two phases.
