In her will to experiment with new roles and characters, actress said, "I always try to do something new every time, but it does not only depend on me. I should also get different projects. But I feel it is a very good time for someone to try different things as different content is coming up. We have many makers now who want to try something new and brave."

The celebration commenced in Delhi, followed by Mumbai, where the Israeli Ambassador welcomed the 'Akelli' Team and hosted special dinner in their honour. 

Akelli Release: The makers and actress Nushrratt Bharuchha visited the divine Shri Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai ahead of the film's shoot.

Talking about her experience of shooting for Akelli, Nushrratt said in a statement, "Akelli has been an overwhelming experience altogether and far from any role I have played till now. It was emotionally draining for me to portray a character like this, and it makes you think of all the challenges that someone so young must have to go through to provide for their loved ones. I am hoping the audience will be able to connect with my character's journey and will hopefully like it." 

Akelli is a soul-stirring tale of a girl who falls into the trap of a dangerous world, owing to her circumstances and her eventual struggle to escape.
