A huge controversy erupted after religious organisation All India Hindu Mahasabha allegedly depicted Mahatma Gandhi in an `asura` idol at a Durga Puja pandal in Kolkata during Durga Puja. 

ABHM national treasurer Dinesh Sharma said he wants to offer prayer to the deity with local Brijwasis on the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami on August 19.

"Lulu Mall respects all religions. Any kind of religious work or prayer is not permitted here. We train our floor staff and security staff to keep an eye on such activities," said Sameer Verma, general manager of the mall. 

Earlier, after the video of Namaz came out, the PRO of Lulu Mall has lodged an FIR. A case has been registered against those who offer Namaz inside the mall. It is being told that they are neither mall employees, nor do they have any relation with the mall.
