Akmal last played for Pakistan in August 2019 against Sri Lanka in a T20I game.

Jayasuriya, the former Sri Lanka Cricket Chair of Selectors, has been charged under Article 2.4.6 and 2.4.7 of the ICC's Anti-Corruption Code.

Pakistan's former Test captain Ramiz Raja also told a news channel yesterday that Sharjeel and Khalid should not be allowed back.    

The former Highveld Lions captain has fourteen days to respond to the charges.

Bodi was charged with several counts of contriving or attempting to fix matches on December 31 last year.
