Apple iPhone 13 series News
Amazon and Flipkart will begin selling the iPhone 13 series online today.
Vijay Sales, Reliance Digital, and Croma will begin selling the phones today.
This year, Apple has completely discontinued the 64GB iPhone models.
HDFC Bank has come up with a few offers for iPhone 13 series which include direct discounts and no-Cost EMIs.
All these offers will be available on Apple premium reseller and Apple authorised reseller stores.
iPhone 13 mini can be availed at a discount of Rs 6,000.
The iPhone 13 series batteries are 13 percent bigger than their respective predecessors.
The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max come with an 11 percent and 18 percent bigger battery than the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 come with a 9 percent and 15 percent bigger battery than the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12.
iPhone 13 lineup will have four models-the vanilla iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Besides iPhone 13 launch, Apple will also come up with the Apple Watch Series 7.
Apple is also expected to launch AirPods 3 without the silicon tips.
The iPhone 13 series will come in four models -- iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and iPhone 13 mini.
Apple may shorten the size of the VCSEL chips by 40 to 50 percent for the iPhone 13 lineup.
These are the same chips used in the 3D mapping tech in Face ID.
The decrease in size of the Face ID chip could result in a small notch and will further change the position of the earpiece (which will shift to the top bezel) and the speaker grille, which is also expected to feature on the top bezel.
According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the upcoming iPhone series will have a smaller notch and 120Hz refresh rate.
For a faster refresh rate, Apple will use LTPO technology on the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max variants.
All iPhone models would come with a lightning connector and there won’t be a port-less phone, at least this year, added Kuo.
