The portfolios attached to the three of them would now be held by the chief minister, the notification issued by Chief Secretary Shakuntala Doley Gamlin said.

The new chief minister-led grouping now has an effective strength of 58 MLAs in the House.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tukion Wednesday wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi andPresident Pranab Mukherjee.

Tuki said till now the members have not received any official communication from assembly secretariat regarding advancement of session.

The letter gave credence to the wide speculation in the state that an uneasy relationship existed between the two sides.
