Arvind Kejriwal's Arrest News
Kejriwal has been in prison since April 1 in connection with the excise policy-linked money laundering case being probed by the ED. On May 10, the Supreme Court had granted interim bail to Kejriwal for 21 days to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections. He returned to prison on June 2.
As the ED sought the extension of Kejriwal's judicial custody, they inormed that the agency have traced Rs 45 crore of an alleged Rs 100 crore money trail.
Saurabh Bharadwaj informed about the move towards Supreme Court during a press conference following the Delhi HC's decision.
At the same time when AAP leaders staged a hunger strike at Jantar Mantar to protest the arrest of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi BJP held demonstration calling for Kejriwal's resignation as CM.
With Kejriwal now facing legal custody until April 15, Sunita criticised the BJP-led centre and said that public will answer this dictatorship.

LG's statement came amid AAP leaders's claim that Arvind Kejriwal will continue as chief minister even if he is behind bars.
Kejriwal was arrested on March 21 by the Enforcement Directorate in relation to the excise policy case. The case pertains to alleged irregularities and money laundering in framing and implementing the Delhi excise policy 2022, which was later scrapped.
The bench of Justice Swarna Kanta Sharma will hear the matter on Wednesday at the at the top of the board and state the cause list of the Delhi High Court.
