Australia vs Pakistan 1st Test News

Australia skipper Pat Cummins sent former Pakistan skipper Babar Azam back to the dugout for 14 and after that, it seemed wickets were just a ball away.

Australian captain Pat Cummins won the toss and opted to bat first at Perth stadium. Openers Warner and Khawaja took Australia off to a brilliant start, taking the opening partnership beyond the 100-run mark at lunch on Day 1. 

Australian opening batter Usman Khawaja will hope to score big in the three-match Test seriess Pakistan starting December 14 at Perth. The left-handed batter has been in the news for his 'political' stand over ongoing war between Palestine and Israel. Khawaja wrote 'All Lives Are Equal' on his cricket shoes and was looking to play the first Test wearing them. But the International Cricket Counci (ICC) stopped him from doing that. Khawaja is not wearing them in the match anymore but is willing to take approval and get them on in the next match. 

At stumps on Day 2, Azhar was unbeaten on 139 as Pakistan secured 310 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
