"I will speak to the Prime Minister on the situation in Kodagu and request him for adequate financial assistance and cooperation. I will also request him to conduct an aerial survey of the region if possible," Yeddyurappa told reporters.

"I have consulted legal experts regarding former chief minister Yeddyurappa calling me a commission agent in the Siddaramaiah government. A case will be filed against him," Patil said.

Yeddyurappa demanded Siddaramaiah's resignation taking moral responsibility for "destruction of evidence" in connection with the case.

 As part of the party's Dalit outreach, BJP's top brass has asked Union ministers and senior functionaries to have a meal at a Dalit household while visiting different states as part of the Modi government's third anniversary celebrations.

Karnataka Chief Minister  Siddaramaiah on Friday said BJP state President B S Yeddyurappa's visits to houses of Dalits and having food there was an "act of hypocrisy" and a "drama."  

A city civil court on Saturday directed Karnataka BJP President B S Yeddyurappa and Union minister Ananth Kumar to appear before the investigation officer in a case of collecting "ill-gotten money" to give voice samples within a week.

Amid the BJP central leadership's crackdown to end infighting in its Karnataka unit, the party's state president B S Yeddyurappa on Monday said the "confusion" in the organisation's state wing would end in three to four days.

The court which pronounced its judgement on Wednesday also did not find even an "iota of evidence" to prove Yeddyurappa abused his official position.
