AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has said that December 6 – the day when the Babri Mosque was demolished by the Kar Sevaks in Ayodhya - will forever remain a black day for Indian democracy. On 30th anniversary of the demolition of Babri Masjid at Ayodhya, the Hyderabad MP tweeted that the desecration and demolition of the Babri Masjid is a symbol of injustice. "Those responsible for its destruction were never convicted. We will not forget it & we will ensure that future generations remember it too," he said in a tweet.

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Wednesday dubbed the special CBI court verdict in the Babri Masjid demolition case as a 'black day' for the Indian judiciary. Reacting to the court order, the AIMIM leader said, “Today is a sad day in the history of the Indian judiciary. Now, the court says there was no conspiracy. Please enlighten me, how many days of months of preparations are required to disqualify an action from being spontaneous?” Owaisi also endorsed the AIMPLB announcement that it is not satisfied with the special CBI verdict in the Babri Masjid demolition case and will appeal against it in the higher court.
