The government on Thursday withdrew its decision to stop the practice of stamping hand baggage tags at major airports after security agencies raised concerns.
The Civil Aviation Ministry on Thursday decided to do away with security stamp on hand baggage tags at seven airports.
As the one-week trial comes to an end, Indira Gandhi International Airport will restart with stamping cabin bag tags from Friday.
Starting Thursday seven airports have already done away with tags on hand baggage as a part of trials to scrap security stamping procedure.
