Terrorists have tried to spread terror in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorists have shot dead a retired SSP here.

Head Constable Ghulam Mohammad Dar was shot dead on 31st October in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Five bullets were fired at his body near the outer gate of his residence in Wailoo village of Tangmarg.

The operation which began on Monday (August 17) was put on hold during the night. One terrorist was killed in the encounter on Monday that broke out in Kreeri village of Baramullah district of North Kashmir. Two CRPF soldiers and one Special Police Officer (SPO) of Jammu and Kashmir Police got martyred after some unidentified opened fire on in Baramulla district on Monday.

Sources said that the terrorists attacked a joint naka party of CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) and Police at Kreeri area of Baramullah district. Security forces have cordoned off the area and search operation has been launched to arrest the terrorists.

At least three civilians have been killed in an attack by terrorists in Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir, reported news agency ANI.

One BSF jawan was killed when terrorists on Sunday night attacked a BSF and adjoining Army camps in Baramulla.

Although he was bleeding profusely, he didn't give up and continued to hold his fort till reinforcements arrived.

Terrorists on late Sunday night targeted a BSF and an adjoining Army camp in Jammu & Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Initial reports suggest that one BSF personnel lost his life while another one was injured during the gun battle.
