A novel drone show will be one of the major attractions of this year's 'Beating the Retreat' ceremony.
It will be graced by President Kovind, PM Modi at Vijay Chowk in New Delhi.
The show would be of 10 minutes involving drones fabricated through indigenous technology.
1000 Make in India drones are rehearsing for the Beating the Retreat ceremony to be held at Vijay Chowk in Delhi on January 29. India will be the fourth country after China, Russia and the UK to host the show on such a large scale with 1,000 drones.
The Beating the Retreat ceremony that is held daily at the at Attari-Wagah Border will not be held on Friday as Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman is expected to be back around 4-5 pm.

Beating Retreat ceremony took place on Monday (January 29) with a beautiful splash of colour, melodious tunes and a dazzling display of lights at dusk.
