Benchmark Prime Lending Rate (BPLR) News
India's largest lender the State Bank of India (SBI) will increase its benchmark prime lending rate (BPLR) by 70 basis points (bps), or 0.7 percent, to 14.85 percent with effect from today (March 15, 2023).
SBI will increase BPLR from tomorrow (March 15).
After the increment, the bank's BPLR will be 14.85 percent.
On February 15, 2023, SBI raised the MCLR rates for the last time by 10 bps.
The State Bank of India (SBI) on Monday revised a slew of its existing rates, which will be effective from January 1, 2018.
