Nitish Kumar has returned as the chief minister of Bihar for a record seventh time on Monday. He will head a 14-strong council of ministers including two deputy chief ministers.

Since the post of a Deputy CM is not a constitutional one, the two took oath as ministers and their posts would be notified by the cabinet in due course. JD(U) ministers included old hands like Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Ashok Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Chaudhary besides new faces Mewa Lal Chaudhary and Sheela Kumari Mandal.
