PM Modi landed in Male on July 25, for a state visit to the Maldives, receiving a warm welcome from President Muizzu.

Under the agreement, both countries will look at promoting closer cooperation in e-governance, m-governance, e-public services delivery, cyber security, software technology parks, start-up ecosystem and the like.

The agreement was made on Saturday during a meeting between Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain and visiting Chinese Minister of Science and Technology Wan Gang who is here for the 18th Session of the Pakistan-China Joint Committee on Science and Technology Cooperation, reports Xinhua news agency.
