Following which, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut compared the BJP-Shiv Sena relationship to the one shared by Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and his film producer wife Kiran Rao, who recently announced their divorce.

Sambhaji Bhide is said to be a close aide of Maharashtra incumbent Chief Minister Devendra Fadanavis. He was previously associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and later formed his own organisation Shiv Pratishthan Hindustan. 

Speaking to the media ahead of a BJP delegation meet with Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Sudhir Mungantiwar said that BJP will try to solve the political differences with its Shiv Sena soon and added that Uddhav Thackeray is the guide of 'Mahayuti' (BJP and Sena alliance). 

The MLAs, as per reports, will be shifted to Trident Hotel and it is learnt that their phones will be confiscated so that they are not able to contact anyone. A common landline number will be provided to the MLAs to speak to their family members. 

Sources on Thursday informed that the Shiv Sena group which wants to iron out the differences, is firstly of the belief that a government without BJP will be "unstable" and secondly, it will be difficult for the party to explain to people, especially in the rural areas, why they ended their alliance.
