The study reveals that creative people are more likely to fruitfully use idle time by letting one idea lead to another.
The study was published in the journal Child Development. As part of the study, the team chose to study 3,425 students from grades five to nine belonging to different socio-economic backgrounds.
The results showed that people were more likely to express a preference for unhealthy foods like crisps, sweets and fast food after completing the boring task.
