Brahim Diaz News
AC Milan have signed attacking midfielder Brahim Diaz from La Liga champions Real Madrid on a season-long loan, the Serie A club said on Friday.
The 21-year-old Spaniard scored twice in 21 games in all competitions for Real after his arrival from Manchester City in January 2019.
Milan finished in sixth place in the Serie A last-season and begin this season's campaign at home to Bologna on September 21.
Modric`s injury takes Madrid`s list of injured players up to eight ahead of Saturday`s game at home to Levante, while Gareth Bale is also suspended after getting sent off in last week`s 2-2 draw at Villarreal.
Real Madrid`s stumble against Real Sociedad saw them slump to fifth in the standings, 10 points behind leaders Barcelona.
Real announced the signing on their website barely an hour after their 2-0 home defeat by Real Sociedad, which left Santiago Solari`s side fifth in the La Liga standings.
Diaz, 19, played a total of only 50 minutes for City in the Premier League last season but has not featured in the league this campaign.
