On Sunday Lewis Hamilton picked up his ninth win at the British Grand Prix making him the driver with the most wins on a single track. The win for Hamilton came after almost three years since his last win in Saudi Arabia back in 2021.
Formula One championship leader Max Verstappen led a Red Bull one-two in a breezy final practice for the British Grand Prix on Saturday. The Dutch 24-year-old lapped with a best time of one minute 27.901 seconds, 0.410 quicker than his Mexican team mate Sergio Perez.
Racing Point said they expected to make a decision later on Thursday or before practice starts on Friday on who would partner Canadian Lance Stroll.
The British racer then took to Twitter and expressed that the last lap almost had him.
Hamilton raced at an average speed of 237.6 km/h and gained 25 points.

Bottas, five points behind Hamilton after three races, put in a fastest time of one minute 25.873 seconds in the final practice session.
Hulkenberg's announcement as Perez's replacement was confirmed only hours before the start of FP1.
If the re-test comes back positive, Perez would be ruled out of Sunday`s fourth round of the Formula One season.
