BSNL 4G Network: In July, telecom giants Jio, Airtel, and Vi hiked the prices of their recharge plans. Amidst these increases, BSNL is emerging as a game-changer, attracting millions of users with its affordable recharge options. Notably, the state-owned company is also actively working on expanding its 4G network for better network availability and high-speed data. As its customer base grows, BSNL is consistently rolling out new offers and budget-friendly plans.
State-run telecom firm BSNL on Thursday started corporate e-mail service for Re 1 per day in partnership with Jaipur-based firm Data Infosys.
State-owned BSNL has reduced duration of its landline to landline local call by one minute on same network and also hiked the charge by 20 percent.
"We are serious on the issue of mobile call drop of BSNL. Steps are being taken to address it.
The operator is planning about 14,736 2G and 10,914 3G base tower stations in 2015-16. Apart from that it will be integrating its wi-fi hotspot and LTE (4G) with the existing GSM network.
