If you're a BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd) customer on a limited budget, you might want to have a look at the telecom's most economical prepaid plans. In India, BSNL offers nine prepaid plans under Rs 200 with a variety of features that you should consider for your next recharge. The plans, perks, and validity of BSNL's cheapest prepaid plans are listed below.

The Rs 201 prepaid plan comes with 90 days of validity with 300 minutes of calling benefits and 6GB of total data. The Rs 187 STV plan is currently available at Rs 139. The Rs 1,499 plan is available at a discounted rate of Rs 1,199 and offers customers a validity of 365 days.

Vi’s Rs 447 plan offers 50GB of bulk data for 60 days. Besides the data, users can also avail unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS/day. Meanwhile, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) made a few changes in the benefits of its Rs 247 prepaid plan as now it comes with 30 days validity along with 3GB daily data with unlimited calls and SMS benefits. Vodafone Idea’s or Vi’s Rs 299 double data prepaid plan offers 2 plus 2, 4GB daily data for 28 days along with a weekend rollover data benefit.

The Rs 197 prepaid plan comes with free voice calls, free 100 SMSs a day, and access to the Zing Music app which is applicable for only 18 days. There is a special plan launched by BSNL at Rs 108 which gives 1 GB of data daily with a validity of 60 days along with unlimited calling and the validity of data up to 60 days. However, BSNL has discontinued a few of its prepaid plans as it plans to stop the recharge coupon of Rs 47, plan voucher of Rs 109, and special tariff vouchers of Rs 998, and Rs 1098.

Also, BSNL has increased the rate of its Rs 365 prepaid plan by Rs 32 and the annual prepaid plan will be available for Rs 397 and there will be no change in the rest of its benefits. In this plan, users get unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS daily, and 2GB of data for 60 days. The total validity of this plan is 365 days. BSNL’s Rs 249 plan offers unlimited voice calls to users on any network and unlimited data up to 1GB daily.

To match competition from private operators, state-owned BSNL will come up with three new pre-paid offerings on Republic Day, including Rs 26 tariff voucher that allows free local voice calls within its network during 26-hour validity.
