Jasprit Bumrah on Monday (March 15) tied the knot with sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan in Goa. Many people came up with the theory that the love story between Bumrah and Sanajan had kickstarted during the ICC 2019 WC. Bumrah is expected to join his IPL franchise Mumbai Indians towards the end of this month.

Team India pacer Jasprit Bumrah got married to sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan in Goa on Monday. As reported, the ceremony was a private affair and it took place with utmost secrecy. The couple got married in a traditional gurudwara wedding.

Bumrah and Sanjana successfully managed to keep their relationship under the wraps. Sanjana has been a regular face of the Star Sports panel and has hosted shows on the Indian Premier League (IPL), badminton, etc. for the broadcasters. Bumrah is now expected make his return to the field in the IPL 2021.

For the last few days, social media has been flooded with posts that the two were getting married either on March 14 in Goa, though neither Bumrah nor Sanjana have confirmed the news. Bumrah opted out of the fourth and final Test and the ongoing T20I series against England. Sources had said at the time that the right-arm fast bowler had pulled out citing ‘personal reasons’.

Bumrah played two Tests in the ongoing four-match series against England. The pacer was relieved from India's squad due to personal reasons ahead of the 4th Test against England. Reportedly, Bumrah is set to get married soon and has taken a leave to prepare for the same.
