The Kurmi stir in the Ranchi railway division of the Jharkhand state has caused cancellation of a total of nine trains, while eight have been diverted from their original routes.
Northern Railway arm of the Indian Railways informed of the cancellation of 207 trains while 15 trains have been terminated and six trains have been diverted.
Due to heavy rainfall across northern India, more than 400 trains have been cancelled in between July 7-15, while over 600 express trains are effected due to waterlogging on tracks.
